Features
Front Page and Header
- Create Account (required to leave a review, to cut down on spam and bots).
- Search for politicans by Name, State, or Party.
- Display matching politican Names, Offices, Party, and State.
- Provide a link to create a Group Review (review multiple politicians at once. Useful for situations like: These 32 Republicans voted to pass X law.
- Select a politician to bring up the Politician Detail view.
- Submit feedback.
- Look at your profile and edit it (change password and display name and more).
Politician Detail
- Show image, if available.
- Name, Office, State, Party, Level (federal), branch (legislative, executive).
- If logged in provide button to create a new review.
- Details
- District, First Elected, Next Election
- Phone, Website
- Total Reviews, Total Kudos, Total Grudges, Gladhandler Score.
- Show list of reviews
- Filters: Author (My reviews), Kudos/Grudges, Sort: Newest, Oldest, Popular.
- Pagination - show 20 reviews at a time, widget to page through them.
- Comment on a review. Give a review or comment a thumbs up or down.
- Flag a review or comment for admin review.
Write A Review
- Select Kudo (positive review) or Grudge (negative review).
- Group Review: Same as normal review, but with the ability to select multiple politicians by either
- Typing in a politican's name, pick the right person from the pop-up list, repeat as desired.
- Select one of the short cuts: all, all democrate, democrat reps, democrat senators, republicans, republican reps, republican senators. Note: You can select one of the shortcuts to select most of what you need, then remove the ones you don't want.
